How do I get full credit on calc problems with regards to showing formulas and work?
Example: if I am doing a full RBC calculation do I need to write in text in the excel workbook : RBC charge = R0 + [ R1^2+ R2 ^2 + R3 ^2 + R4 ^2 + R5 ^2 ] ^ 0.5 + Operational risk
My fear is if I make a formula mistakes in the cells and do not explicitly list a formula I will lose massive points, but writing out a full formula in excel is cumbersome and time consuming.
What other assumptions do I need to illustrate, example asset concentration charge being split between R1 & R2.
What are the general rules for "showing work" in excel calc problems to maximum points and minimize time loss. There are no examiner reports that give examples of full credit for computer based testing calc problems for 6U.

For calculation questions, it is safe to assume that you will be penalized considerably for not giving the correct numerical answer. Writing out the correct formulas may (or may not) reduce this penalty, while it will cost you time. For full credit, your best bet is to try to compose the excel function correctly.
