Sched F Reconfiguration

Is there a version of the Odomirok chapter or some other resource that has the various inputs and columns appropriately mapped? Not even S&P has their s#!t together, so it's challenging to learn these when the source material is pointing to old exhibits. In lieu of that, what are the expectations for the exam: Are they testing on column number, or are they naming the relevant fields? Hard to do anything beyond wade through the source when it keeps citing (probably outdated) column numbers

  • Exam questions will generally name the various sections/columns of Shedule F used in the problem, rather than expecting you to remember them. The wiki is up to date with the parts that matter. You will be expected to be familiar with the contents of various parts and their inter-relations, as outlined in the wiki and the text.

  • thanks, so just to confirm: if the wiki lists column numbers eg in Certified Reinsurer content, then we should commit them to memory?

  • The wiki tries to put column relationships in formulas. It devises various acronyms representing the columns to put in these formulas. The correspondence between acronym and column number is generally noted.

You generally need to commit to memory things like the Porter chapters on regulation. With something like Schedule F, you need to learn how it functions. The formulas are developed to help you learn this.
